Having previously covered the Head of Marketing position at From the Fields, I still join the team annually to assist their current HoM across the marketing operations at their 35,000 capacity flagship festival, Kendal Calling.

With a PR agency, social team, and multiple cross-functional media teams operating across the site, the marketing activity over the festival weekend is substantial to say the least, with KC25 surpassing a staggering 11 million views across socials and digital PR.

Over the weekend, I was tasked with leading a nine-person team of video production staff and influencers to produce artist interviews and BTS social-first content across the festival. The project saw us work with BBC Radio 6 presenter Chris Hawkins and deliver over 30 interviews with artists, including The Lottery Winners, Pixie Lott and Tim Burgess, to name just a few.
